Committed Workers Will Receive Their Rewards – Ngige

During the Joint house Union of the ministry of labour and employment, the Minister of Labour and Employment, in the person of Sen. Chris Ngige said that it would improve the working conditions of workers.

He opined that the civil service is the instrument of policy formation and implementation so the federal government is determined to ensure pleasant conditions of service for civil servants.

The chairman of the Union, in the person of Comrade Tommy Okon briefed the minister as he is one of the important stakeholders in the progress of the fundamental goals of the ministry.

The minister stressed that capacity building will be given precedence as the 2016 budget covers requirements for training and re-training programes which is projected to advance the worth and the welfare of the staff, also noting that there will be rewards for committed workers.
