•    Send an SMS to 33125 in this format- Policy number*plate number. E.g. OIN/098/20201401*AB567CD then you send it to 33125

•    Or call the NIA numbers 08030400804, 07011784884

The NIID is a platform to verify the genuineness of your insurance policy and it is brought to you by the Nigerian Insurance Association (NIA). It is the umbrella body n Nigeria.
It takes only 24 hours for a new policy to reflect on the NIID, so take the necessary actions immediately you find out it has exceeded 24 hours.

Be quick to contact your insurer or call NIA (08030400804, 07011784884) if you get any error massage like “policy not found’ or “policy expired” message.

Be warned, you cannot buy a genuine policy through the NIID website (www.askniid.org).
